GENERAL DENTISTRY
Dental Cleaning
Teeth cleaning is the best way to maintain fresh breath and good oral hygiene. For this treatment, a hygienist performs a detailed dental cleaning, then the dentist does a thorough thorough examination of your teeth. When done at 6 or 12 months, cleansing is also a good way to prevent dental caries, gingivitis and periodontal disease.
ORTHODONTICS
If you have problems with your bite or the spacing of your teeth, you may need orthodontic care. Orthodontic care involves the treatment of irregularities in the teeth especially of the alignment and occlusion and the jaws. Orthodontic care involves the use of devices, such as braces, to straighten teeth, correct bite problems, close spaces between teeth, properly align the lips and teeth. At the Dental Center Dr. Catherine Luu, we regularly treat young patients as much as adults for orthodontics. Most people who receive orthodontic care are children, but adults also have braces. In young children, orthodontic treatment can guide the correct growth of the jaw. This can help the permanent teeth to enter properly. Permanent permanent teeth can help prevent dental problems later.
AESTHETIC, PROSTHESES
Cosmetic dentistry is commonly used to refer to any dental work that improves the appearance (but not necessarily function) of a person's teeth, gums and / or bite. It focuses mainly on improving the dental aesthetic in color, position, shape, size, alignment and general appearance smile. A delightful smile attracts the eyes and smiles of others, and increases the level of self-confidence.

Whitening
Teeth whitening is an cosmetic treatment done to improve the appearance of teeth. The teeth are blanched to eliminate the effects of coffee, cigarettes and other substances that permanently color or discolor teeth. A complete dental checkup is required before having a teeth whitening. Only natural teeth can be bleached. Restorations, crowns and bridges can not be bleached. There are two processes for bleaching: in the dental office or at home. Both ways give good results but the fastest remains the treatment at the dentist.

Veneers
A dental facet corresponds to the hard envelope that covers the front of the teeth. This aesthetic accessory usually serves when teeth are stained, discolored, or worn, to mask the imperfections of a smile. It is thus possible to redefine the contour of a tooth, and thus to change its size. The dental facets can be made of ceramic, composite or porcelain. In all cases, their placement requires the production of a dental impression. The facet is made in 2 appointments. The first to take the impression and two weeks later, the facet is ready to be cemented.

Crowns
A dental crown is a prosthesis that is placed on the tooth to be treated. This is a kind of shell that is very durable to cover a fragile tooth or tooth that has had root canal treatment. The crown made to measure, after an impression, and two weeks later, to cement the crown.

Bridge
The bridge is a dental prosthesis that replaces one or more adjacent missing teeth. It is usually permanently attached and can not be removed. As our patients will tell you, the deck is very comfortable, easy to maintain and aesthetically pleasing.
